Rise and Unite!
On April 14th 1995, at San Jose State University; the newly appointed University President Robert Caret attempted to conduct a town hall meeting with the student body. The African students on the campus with the other students of color began a series of protests in response to several intolerable conditions that were racially charged. This program sparks the turning point of a number of protests and meetings that lead to the successful implementation of "Da Undaground" and "Radio Atzlan" achieving 40 hours of ethnic programming on KSJS radio.
