FTP! "Fuck the Police Day in Oakland, CA" - This program originally aired June 24th 1996, and features members of "The Young Comrades" including Troy Nkrumah, Reggie Brown  and Boots Riley from The Coup. Gone are the days where Africans could freely congregate at The Lake on a beautiful summer afternoon in Oakland California. Simply driving around the lake could get your vehicle confiscated due to a no crusing law that was implemented shortly after one of the last Festival at the Lake. Thanks to a 'safe harbor' and no commercial interest, this discussion took place for over 2 hours without interruption

On April 14th 1995, at San Jose State University; the newly appointed University President Robert Caret attempted to conduct a town hall meeting with the student body.  The African students on the campus with the other students of color began a series of protests in response to several intolerable conditions that were racially charged. This program sparks the turning point of a number of protests and meetings that lead to the successful implementation of "Da Undaground" and "Radio Atzlan" achieving 40 hours of ethnic programming on KSJS radio.
